Also includes approximately 1,200 L.F. of 12" diameter ductile iron water line and the construction of facility drain lines, a control valve vault installation, two chlorine/fluoride analyzer installations, and other piping/site work.

Preparation of property surveys, design and permit applications for a new 36" diameter finished water transmission main from the new water treatment plant in Economy Borough to connections to the Authority’s distribution system in Marshall Township, Allegheny County. The 36" diameter finished water transmission main is approximately 44,000' in length.

Preparation of design and permit applications for a new 15.0 MGD Water Treatment Plant located in Economy Borough, Pennsylvania. The Water Treatment Plant will consist of chemical additions, flocculation and sedimentation using plate settlers followed by gravity filtration with granular activated carbon media. UV disinfection will be provided.

Preparation of design, contract administration and inspection for the construction of a 48'x16' (approximate) building addition to the water treatment plant to house medium voltage drives for the high service pumps. Building to be supported on drilled concrete caissons. Remove existing 36" diameter electric check valve and install a 36" diameter silent check valve and associated piping and fittings, includes storm water piping and pavement restoration. HVAC includes roof exhaust fans, dampers and related heating and ventilating equipment.
